“I’ve been hiring speakers for over 17 years now and your presentation is the very best one we’ve had”
Debbie’s input into the sales team really hit the mark with the challenges that our sales team will be facing this year her discussions and training really hit the mark and it tied in nicely with our business plans for 2012.
Already I have seen the impact this has had on the sales team being more communicative to their customer base and as a result some leads have resurfaced once presumed no existent. So thanks Debbie.
The Microsoft team can’t stop raving about your session and what a great addition you were to the lineup. We really appreciate all the research you did leading up the presentation and your enthusiasm. You were a true pleasure to work with!
It was great to meet you in Adelaide, I really enjoyed your presentation! Unfortunately I only managed to make it to one, but I found your use of imagery and simple messages very effective and appealing to the broad audience you had. I’ll look forward to receiving your email newsletter.
Debbie recently facilitated a session with our management team. She had the room’s attention and engagement from beginning to end. She was informative, warm and entertaining and there were several “ah ha” moments for the entire group that converted easily into real value for everyone.
It was lovely to meet you. Definitely one of the most productive workshops I have ever attended. I’m now aware of what I can do to optimise what is readily available in terms of basic resources and technology to increase my efficiency so I can power through my every increasing work-load.
Thank you for the e-books, these will sure come in handy for me. I’m excited to start putting what I learnt in your workshop into practice!
I just wanted to say thank you SO much for our time at the Corporate EA Summit albeit a very short time, it was great! I am also in a new role and am inundated with emails. Trying to manage them is fast becoming a hobby and some of the things you covered was on my ‘to do’ list for a while.
Last week I sifted through your archived newsletters while travelling and got a few other good tips that I emailed myself to do/try as well as buying your book and I wanted to start by saying thank you. I had a few notes from your speech and have googled a few answers then I thought I must buy your book as it will be in there.
We feel very fortunate to have enlisted the services of Debbie Mayo-Smith at our conference this September. We can be a tough audience to say the least, but Debbie’s delivery and ability to tailor her message to our audience exceeded our expectations. The knowledge and information that we learned in just a few short hours is priceless and is already having the desired effect. Thank you
Debbie was engaged by Beacon Media Group to run a session which involved salespeople across 6 of our companies, all with varying needs.
The session required an approach that would cut across `seasoned’ sales people who may think they have heard it all before.
With prior homework from Debbie in seeking out relevant information from our sites well before the training day, Debbie was able to bring together a presentation which hit the mark, which for us is about working smarter, not harder. She used real examples from our companies, showing our team how to improve on them.
In our businesses, we have been on path over the last couple of years to improve margins, work on more profitable clients to help them grow. Debbie’s presentation was tailored exactly to our requirements and hit the mark precisely.
Her tips will save our teams time, allow them to communicate more effectively with clients and in doing so will free up more time to build new sales.
The follow post training was efficient , and ongoing, will deliver benefits for our organisation through access to many of Debbie’s resources.
Talofa and thanks Debbie, it was lovely for me and the team to work with you and Steven. What you experienced at SCR is the norm, it’s our Samoan & Pacific way of doing things.
Each individual learned some new ways to help him/her work smarter not harder, which was one of the goals I was hoping would be achieved from the session. I think for all of us, it was like a having a light bulb switched on, to reveal some of the useful and timesaving functions of outlook which have been sitting there in front of us all the time without us knowing they were there.
For me personally, it was good to know that some of the things you recommended we should do, like the ‘Google calendar’; we have already implemented for our programme scheduling on our website. Steven also pointed out some good selling points that should accompany the bits of information which is published on the Internet about SCR. I, together with the team will look forward to working with you on follow ups over the next 12 months.
“Debbie, you’re a motivational whirlwind with great strategies to make the most of life. No surprise you’re known as the Queen of Productivity”
Many thanks for your address at our Sales Conference last week. I have spoken with most of our sales consultants since the conference and all feedback on the conference and in particular your presentation has been excellent.
We had the honour of having Debbie in as a guest speaker at our work and as a mum of 2 young children under 5, working full time, Debbie has given me the tools for goal setting and also given some awesome tips with regards to Word, Excel and Outlook. I cannot recommend Debbie highly enough, she’s fantastic
I saw you speak at the annual Australian Steel Convention back in 2003 and I was impressed by the advice and tips you offered during your presentation so I signed up for your newsletter. I have enjoyed receiving your newsletters since that time and have also purchased two of your publications.
Thanks for opening my eyes to the use and many uses to the Computer, especially where Emails are concerned. I have a very broad area which I use in our Fabtrol System, but I do receive lots of Emails, and I deal with them DAILY, and hope to head home CLEAR of Emails. With all info received from you on Friday, I can now do the FOLDERS thing and put RULES in Place etc.
Yesterday was well worth the effort for me, been busy last evening and today consolidating, whipping Google + and Google maps into shape, Sheryl is plugging gaps in our customer base so we can start using our email to advantage… and more! And researching benefits of OneDrive. So yesterday with you was all a bit of heaven. Thank you for indulging us all!
We first met you at a marine conference in Queenstown, perhaps 5 or 6 years ago, and we were really impressed with your presentation and information given. You come across with such a vibrant personality with so easy to understand information, that it revitalises and inspires us to get stuck in and improve the business and the way we do things,
Your presentation was excellent and very informative – I really gained lots out of it and you will be pleased to know I have put 5mins on the end of the staff meeting agenda for us all to share ‘quick tips’! So, there you are – an excellent suggestion coming to fruition. Again, many thanks.
Thank you for your email productivity presentation and workshop at our Training & Development Workshop last week. Everybody really enjoyed it and you gave us exactly what we were looking for. We all really appreciate the investment in time you took beforehand to prepare and have CHEP examples to work on and talk our language. This made the session feel like you were part of our team and you really cared so thank you once again.
Our survey results are in and generally the feedback from the conference is pretty amazing – Typical Comments:
Interesting information, I collected great shortcuts and tips from a bubbly and interesting lady
Loved this session the best! Great presenter, even greater material! I’ve been telling everyone about this session!
Debbie loves and knows her stuff! Switched on, no nonsense, helpful hints. I will use all of them.
Sometimes you don’t know what you don’t know and some of the content of Debbie’s presentation was like opening a new door. I’ve put some of the very simple things into practise and even though I consider myself an experienced operator, I didn’t realise how much simpler some things can be! Very informative and concise presentation; loved the use of the recorded videos.
