1. Do You Have an Outlook Reply Signature Created

When you reply to an email, do you personally sign off every time with a salutation? Or do you have your main (long) signature automatically attach? Why not create an automatic signature for your replies and forwards? I have a simple “thank you and best regards” along with my name and phone number. You’ll find Reply Signature setting in Outlook and Gmail

Outlook: File > Options > Advanced > Mail > Signatures

Gmail: All Settings > General > Signature

2. Creating “Folders” in Gmail

Are you saving emails in Gmail, but your inbox is in the thousands now? Why not create ‘folders’ to put them away into for storage?

These folders are called Labels. You take the email, drag and drop it into the label. It is moved from the main Gmail inbox and will only show when you click the label (along with all the other ones within that label. Even better, once you create that label (it will show in the left navigation pane) if you click on the three dots, you have the option of assigning a colour to it.

3. Turn Your Smartphone Into A Magnifying Glass

If you don’t see the icon when you swipe down right, go to Settings > Accessibility > Magnifier > Turn on (picture)

When you need to use the magnifying glass, go to the Home button and tap the screen three times

4. Easy Recycling at Home

We keep a big box by the front door (and a container outside the kitchen window) to make it easy for the whole family to recycle. From toilet rolls to paper wrappings, bottles to all plastics.

4. Bespoke Training

If you’re interested in training, but budget is a problem – travel, accommodation, time; then why not consider a private group training? While in-house and in-person training is always best, when resource dictates otherwise, a simple quick online session with Debbie. Email debbie@successis.co.nz
